It's time for Spring Cleaning

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our Toastmasters Meeting on the 8th of April at 7 PM, Collegium Civitas, The Palace of Culture and Science.

Scientific research shows that there there is a high risk of getting lazy when the spring approaches. But there is a solution! We are going to do some great SPRING CLEANING! We will start with the Palace of Culture and Science. This may take a meeting or two. As soon as we are done, there are plenty of other untidy places in the city centre to choose from.
The Broom Master - the person having fun looking how hard we work will be Ewa Ratajska.

During our intensive efforts to make PKiN a nice and shiny place, 3 brilliant speakers will be entertaining us with:

* Marcin Grzelak : his ICE BREAKER
* Karol Iacocca Liszczyk : Hannibal at the gates.
* Piotr Wiktorowski : ?

Dariusz Jaworowski will ask you some detailed questions about cleaning techniques. Fear not - you are entitled to a relaxing 3-minute break in your cleaning duty while answering.

You can check agenda details (and a long list of things to clean) at:
http://easy-speak.district59-toastmasters.org/viewagenda.php?t=4727

Don't come without a broom or a dust-cleaner! Let's make our spring flourishing world a spotless place! The last person to come cleans ALL the stairs.)

Kindest regards,
Franciszek Szych

Just a magnificent Contest

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

I'm sorry to inform you there will be no Toastmasters meeting this week (no 1st of April at 7 PM, Collegium Civitas, The Palace of Culture and Science).

Fortunatelly there will be a CONTEST instead. This will be a very normal contest, nothing special. Just some very best speakers of our club will prepare their best speeches. They will hypnotize you with their voices and amaze you with speaking techniques you have never seen before. They will be playing on your emotions like on a guitar and you will be sorry each time a speech will end.

You will then hear some evaluations. One of our leading speakers will deliver a speech to be then fabulosly evaluated. I don't know whether this will be a sandwich or a toast. But I know I will be taking notes during that session.

All presentations will be carefully graded by a team of very competent judges led by Monika Andrzejewska.
But not less important will be what YOU liked. We will all vote for the best speakers and evaluators who will be awarded with a separate "public vote" diplomas.

You can see all roles and contestants at:
http://easy-speak.district59-toastmasters.org/viewagenda.php?t=4726

I am really not urging you to come to the Contest. Maybe you don't like to be stunned, dazzled or inspired. So think twice before you come, because you may find it difficult to leave home afterwards.

Kindest regards,
Franciszek Szych

Spring Sprint (meeting)

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

Krzysztof Przybyski - the coach of the meeting of 25th of March warmly invites you for a "Spring Sprint":

Can you feel Spring in the air? It's high time to wake up from the winter sleep and increase energy level! We are going to move our bodies and boost our moods. Expect running, jumping, swimming, push-ups and push-downs. Don't let Summer catch you with excessive kg's!

See you on Wednesday,
KP

Three enegretic runners will lead the crowd:
* Michal Haruki Yamazaki with his ICE BREAKER!
* Franciszek Szych : "Let the rain shine"
* Ewa Ratajska : "Catch Me If You Can"

17th of March - a gifted meeting

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our Toastmasters Meeting on the 17th of March at 7 PM, Collegium Civitas, The Palace of Culture and Science.

The meeting entitled "Talent" will be run by talented Irena Markuszewska.

Have you ever faced a question: "Toastmasters meetings? Do you drink champaign there?"
Well it shouldn't be difficult for you to answer, because coming to our meetings is something even better then drinking champaign (or even my favourite mango juice). Nevertheless we may practice making a toast from time to time. And this is what our very well known Toastmaster Monika Krolak is going to do tomorrow:
* Monika Krolak : "Toast"
Special Occasion Speeches - 1 - Mastering the Toast
Don't miss the occasion to learn toasting from the best!

We will also hear other fantastic speeches:
* Krzysztof Jerzy Przybylski (top secret)
Competent Communication Manual - 4 - How to Say It
* Michal Sobczyk : "Money production cycle"
Technical Presentations - 3 - The Non-Technical Audience

Later we will be answering questions of Tony Bl... I meant Karol Liszczyk.
And Anna Jedrzej will summarize all our talents in her General Evaluation.

You can check agenda details at:
http://easy-speak.district59-toastmasters.org/viewagenda.php?t=4669

I am looking forward to hearing about your talents are!
Kindest regards,
